As you can see from the Superbowl photos, we were a happy bunch. And those Hawaiian shirts were part of our birthday presents from our Dad. You'll enjoy that one!

Watch Out for That Faxon St Ice!
I haven't had much time or energy to write these past 2 weeks. All writing time and energy is currently going into adapting Forum for my middle school drama kids. It's been a lot of work, but I'm almost through. I've taken a lot of the songs, changed the whole courtesan eunuch stuff so it's PG-rated, and I excised a lot of Act II that has people running on and off stage with lots of mistaken identities. I know the kids won't be able to do it. if we had adequate rehearsal time, sure, but we don't.
I can't believe all the stuff I have to write about. My notes are just growing and growing; I don't know where I'll find the time to commit it all to the blogs. I actually have a ton to write about from last JULY, just to show you how far behind I'm getting. To some of you it may seem silly to write about happening from last summer seeing as it's now nearing the end of February, but I'm committed to getting all my thoughts recorded. And I have to do it soon before all the quick notes I've dashed off over the months start looking like nonsense. Nothing's worse than going back to your notes and forgetting what the note means or stands for.
So once I lock up this play on Wednesday, expect some more substantive output from me.
