Little did we Americans know that Daylight Savings Time starts a week early in Europe. I didn't realize it until Sunday night when I went to watch a TV show only to see it ending when it should have been beginning.
Thanks heavens they make the switch on the weekend, or we definitely would have missed our bus to school. I met up with some American friends over here on vacation Monday night, and they arrived an hour late, having no idea that the clocks had been moved forward the previous day.
So for the next couple a days, I'm 8 hours ahead of EST instead of the usual 7. I'm really enjoying all this extra sunlight.
